Digital Legends Entertainment was founded by Xavier Carrillo Costa, Angel Cuñado Pérez and Jean-Philippe Raynaud in May 2001. The management team brought extensive experience of the video games industry in technical, operational and management backgrounds.

From 2001 and growing until 2006, the company was organized in two different operations with a very strong technology and games development back-ground: PC/next generation games development studio and mobile/handheld development arm. In late 2006, a Strategy Shift brought the company to refocus their resources and concentrate exclusively its operations on mobile and handheld developments, since then it has been a reference in the mobile games industry.

Nowadays, Digital Legends offers its development services to 3rd parties as well as continues investing on its own properties.
